We are looking for an organized, people-focused, bilingual professional who can move comfortably between the office and the manufacturing floor. As the HR / Office Admin, you will be a key resource for employees, supervisors, vendors, and plant leadership - helping ensure that people are supported, records are accurate, compliance requirements are met, and the day-to-day operation stays organized.
This is more than an administrative position. It is an opportunity for someone who enjoys HR, people, operations, and problem-solving and wants to make a visible impact every day.
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager at our Clinch-On* facility located in Orange, CA, you will serve as an important link between plant leadership, employees, HR, safety, manufacturing, and administrative functions.
What You'll Do:
Human ResourcesEmployee Support

Support day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding, offboarding, personnel and training records, and employee benefit questions.

Assist with employee relations matters, including documentation and participation in employee investigations.

Maintain confidentiality while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Maintain accurate logs of disciplinary and attendance contacts.
-
Provide support for staffing agency employees and ensure site compliance requirements are met.

Provide support with workers' compensation matters as needed.

Support the Operator Rate Program and EPR updates.

Serve as a reliable and approachable resource for employees and supervisors.
TimekeepingPayroll Support

Administer employee timekeeping and assist with corrections.
-
Ensure accurate timekeeping information is reported to payroll.

Help identify and resolve timekeeping issues in a timely manner.
SafetyCompliance Support

Support the Model Program for customer and contractor safety.

Maintain the SAR inspection cabinet.
-
Review, update, and assist with training employees on USG CORE modules.

Help reinforce a safe, compliant, and professional workplace throughout the plant.
Office AdministrationPlant Support

Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient daily office operations.

Maintain organized files, records, and retention documentation.

Coordinate general office equipment and supplies.
-
Process purchase orders and assist with receipt of goods as needed.

Gather and maintain vendor documentation, including W-9s and Certificates of Insurance.

Arrange lunches, hospitality, and other needs for visitors and guests.

Coordinate and support company events, meetings, employee engagement activities, and communications.

Administer employee uniforms.
Purchasing, InventoryOperations

Assist the planning team with cycle counts, inventory counts, and inventory adjustments as needed.

Provide administrative support to manufacturing and operational departments.

Work collaboratively across departments to help resolve day-to-day operational needs.

Required

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work collaboratively across departments.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally remain on your feet for more than one hour.

Ability and willingness to work overtime, as needed.
Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree.

Previous experience in office administration with HR and manufacturing/operational support.

Experience with NetSuite.

Experience with iSolved.

Experience supporting employee relations, timekeeping, payroll, safety, or compliance activities.

Work Environment - This is an office-based position with regular interaction throughout the manufacturing operation. The role may require physical inventory support and participation in operational activities within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
