Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Marina Administrator to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the marina. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist marina owners, tenants, and prospective customers.
- Manage slip rentals, lease agreements, renewals, and waiting lists.
- Process applications, background checks, and onboarding documents.
- Prepare invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.
- Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, transient reservations, and move-ins.
- Schedule launch requests and communicate with dock staff.
- Maintain customer records, insurance certificates, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Assist with marketing available slips through social media and online listings.
- Order office supplies and maintain organized administrative files.
- Support marina management with reports, projects, and daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office management experience required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to learn marina management software and payment systems.
- Experience in property management, hospitality, boating, or marina operations is a plus.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
