We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces
- Assist with custodial responsibilities for both commercial and residential properties, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness standards
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting issues related to plumbing, electrical fixtures or structural concerns
- Maintain a safe work environment by following proper cleaning procedures and adhering to health and safety regulations
- Occasionally assist with industrial cleaning projects or porter duties as needed to support overall site operations
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Experience in floor care including buffing, stripping, sealing, or polishing floors is highly desirable
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices for office buildings, retail spaces or industrial facilities
- Familiarity with residential painting or light maintenance tasks is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks
