Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems. This role is essential for maintaining the performance and safety of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Conduct brake repairs, and other essential vehicle inspections.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Repair and maintain farm machinery and other heavy equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform equipment repairs, including soldering when necessary.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles and equipment accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive repair, diesel engines a plus.
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose minor issues effectively.
- Familiarity with brake repair systems, a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Knowledge of farm machinery repair is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
