The Role:
The Director of Account Services (DAS) serves as the senior strategic leader for multiple client accounts and account teams within the agency. This role combines high-level client relationship management, strategic brand leadership, and operational oversight. The DAS ensures exceptional delivery of marketing solutions, drives client growth, and mentors account leaders to deliver best-in-class service and results.
Accountabilities:
Client Leadership & Strategy
· Serve as the senior strategic advisor to key clients, understanding their business goals, challenges, and industry landscapes.
- Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that align with client objectives and drive measurable results.
- Oversee creative, media, and digital initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and strategic alignment across channels.
- Anticipate client needs, proactively identify opportunities for growth, and present strategic recommendations.
Team & Operational Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of Account Directors, Managers, and Executives across multiple clients or business units.
- Oversee resource allocation, workload balance, and project profitability within the group.
- Partners with internal discipline leaders (Strategy, Creative, Media, Analytics, Production) to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Business Development
- Contribute to agency growth by identifying organic client growth opportunities and leading new business pitches.
- Develop proposals, scopes, and budgets for new or expanded client engagements.
- Maintain strong financial stewardship of client accounts, including forecasting and margin management.
Leadership & Culture
- Represent the agency’s values, vision, and strategic priorities to both clients and internal teams.
- Support the executive team in shaping agency operations, process improvements, and client service excellence.
- Champion innovation and creative thinking within your teams and across the agency.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in account management, client services, or marketing leadership roles (agency experience strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of leading multi-channel marketing programs and managing large-scale client relationships.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus).

Base Salary - $130,000-$140,000 + eligible for incentive compensation
Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
