Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Install, service, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, ventilation systems, and building automation controls.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify faults within electrical systems associated with HVAC equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to repair or replace defective components in HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems.
- Diagnose complex issues related to electrical systems, plumbing connections, refrigerant leaks, or mechanical failures with precision.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs or system upgrades while providing excellent customer service throughout every interaction.
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC system installation and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, boilers, air conditioning units, ventilation fans, and building automation systems.
- Experience reading schematics, technical drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with electrical systems within HVAC equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of plumbing connections related to HVAC applications; ability to identify leaks or blockages efficiently.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly through systematic diagnosis and repair strategies.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications related to HVAC/R are preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical repair techniques; experience working with mechanical systems repair is highly valued.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients or team members.
