Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HVAC Expediter to join our dynamic facilities management team. In this role, you will coordinate the scheduling, procurement, and delivery of HVAC equipment, materials, and components to ensure seamless project execution and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and experience with procurement systems. This position plays a vital role in maintaining project timelines, optimizing vendor relationships, and supporting the overall success of our HVAC operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the timely procurement and delivery of HVAC parts, equipment, and materials by coordinating with vendors and internal teams
- Monitor inventory levels using inventory management systems to prevent shortages or delays
- Communicate effectively with vendors to track order status, resolve issues, and negotiate pricing or delivery terms
- Utilize ERP systems to manage purchase orders and procurement workflows
- Collaborate with purchasing management systems to streamline sourcing and procurement processes
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor communications using spreadsheets and accounting software
- Support logistics planning by coordinating transportation schedules and ensuring compliance with project timelines
- Assist in resolving supply chain disruptions promptly through direct negotiation with vendors or sourcing alternative solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement procedures and inventory control
- Work closely with project managers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure all HVAC components are delivered on schedule
Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems for supply chain management
- Experience with materials management, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Strong knowledge of purchasing management systems (technically supported) and procurement processes
- Excellent vendor relationship management skills including negotiation and contract management
- Ability to analyze Excel data for procurement trends and inventory forecasting
- Familiarity with accounting software related to supply chain transactions
- Effective communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal collaboration
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, and direct procurement techniques
- Understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for production planning purposes
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Client relations both written and verbal

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
