Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Steward to join our dynamic hospitality team! As a Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and kitchen areas regularly to uphold cleanliness standards
- Support catering and banquet events by setting up kitchen and dish areas
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to deliver excellent hospitality experiences
Skills
- Experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks and assist with cooking when needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and order
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support a busy kitchen or dining environment
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- Passion for hospitality, serving guests, and creating positive dining experiences
