This position will support the United States Space Force (USSF) 5th Space Launch Squadron and the launch services they support. ManTech's Air Force and Space Division is recruiting highly talented candidates to support a contract that provides full life cycle support to the United States Space Force (USSF) Assured Access to Space National Security Space Launch (NSSL) program. We provide services and support in a multitude of areas, including Systems Engineering & Integration, Acquisition & Program Management Support, Mission Integration Management, System Safety & Environmental Engineering, Systems Security & Information Assurance, Launch Schedule and Risk Management, Digital Engineering.
This position also performs system and subsystem design implementation, integration and tests. Participates in software requirement review, applications and tool definition, design, implementation, integration, test, software acceptance review and iteration. Performs software application related development tasks as directed. Interacts with customer personnel on technical matters, often supporting coordinated activity across organizational lines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for software web applications required to support the 5th Space Launch Squadron. Involves maintaining, extending or rewriting existing applications, or creating new applications which can be accessed from multiple groups, bases and domains.
Provide support for team-developed applications; design and develop web or cloud-hosted applications; investigate and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements to our software development processes and for the enterprise processes our applications support; application, server and tool administration.
Development experience using the following or equivalent: HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, asynchronous programming, Restful Framework, Agile, UX design, C# or Python. Experience using software development planning tools, source control tools, and task automation tools.
