Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, fast, and reliable Cashier to join our team. As the face of our store, you will greet customers, process transactions quickly, and ensure everyone leaves with a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process sales: Ring up fuel, snacks, beverages, and lottery tickets accurately.
- Handle cash: Manage cash drawers, process card payments, and give correct change.
- Verify ID: Strictly check identification for all age-restricted sales like alcohol and tobacco.
- Assist customers: Answer questions, resolve issues, and provide friendly service.
- Support upkeep: Keep the counter area clean, restock near-register items, and brew fresh coffee.
- Shift handoff: Count down the drawer at the start and end of your shift to ensure accuracy.
Position Requirements
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
- Must meet minimum age requirements to sell tobacco and alcohol.
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
