Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and providing change as needed.
- Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
Skills
- Knowledge of hardware categories a plus but training is available
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math principles is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers confidently.
- Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to promote sales.
