Responsibilities
- Oversee daily community operations, including leasing, rent collection, and property maintenance coordination
- Manage lease agreements, rental contracts, and tenant records with precision and attention to detail
- Handle resident inquiries, resolve conflicts promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication skills
- Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to track occupancy, rent payments, and maintenance requests
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other legal requirements
- Coordinate property maintenance activities, including routine inspections and facility repairs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Conduct regular financial budgeting and reporting to support community profitability and sustainability
- Facilitate client communication via phone etiquette, email correspondence, and in-person interactions to promote upselling of available units or services
- Manage conflict resolution among residents or staff using effective conflict management strategies
- Support team management efforts by supervising staff members, delegating tasks appropriately, and fostering a collaborative work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing and tenant relations
- Strong knowledge of property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, Office tools (Microsoft Office), and property management tools like Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Experience with legal administrative processes related to landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and contracts management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and in person
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, perform facilities management tasks, and oversee property maintenance activities
- Conflict management skills with a focus on negotiation and resolution strategies
- Ability to handle office responsibilities such as filing, documentation processing, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with legal standards
- Strong team management capabilities with experience supervising staff in a property or facilities setting
