Pelican SnoBalls Team Member Job Description
Honest, friendly, outgoing team member needed for seasonal fast paced but fun shaved ice stand
Must be 17-18 years of age (exceptions at manager’s discretion)
Day Shift will be 11:45 - 5/6 pm. Some weekend shifts possibly as well if needed.
Business is open 7 days a week from 12:00 – 9:00 p.m. MONDAY- SATURDAY & SUNDAY 2:00 pm- 9:00 pm . Actual work hours can extend from before opening until closing tasks are complete (e.g., 11:40 a.m.– 9:45 p.m.) Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Fall hours are reduced to 2-8pm daily.
Season begins in March and finishes in November. Peak season is (May – July) weekly hours can range from 15-20 hours per week, with daily shifts ranging from 4 to 9 hours. Scheduled hours during off peak months could be less.
Note: We are seeking an individual who is available during the hours of 11:45am-5/6pm during school hours as well as summer.
Job Tasks
- Welcome and connect with each customer
- Take orders
- Follow cash-handling procedures and operate register
- Shave ice on Electric Shavers/Pour syrup
- Prepare and Maintain ingredients for product use and inventory
- Perform cleaning tasks and maintain cleaning standards inside and outside.

- Be friendly and helpful to each and every customer, making them your first priority
- Be efficient and proactive with keeping up on operational tasks (filling flavor bottles, cutting ice, wiping down tables/benches, emptying the trash, completing project checklist, etc)
