We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting preschool and school‑age students. The ideal candidate brings clinical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to child-centered, data-informed practice.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate student needs as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
- Make data-informed recommendations for services, supports, modifications, and accommodations
- Develop individualized, data-driven goals and objectives that promote functional skill development
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with students, families, and colleagues
- Provide direct and indirect therapy across a continuum of prevention, promotion, and intervention
- Participate as a member of the Committee on Special Education / Preschool Special Education
- Contribute to building-based teams and problem-solving processes
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and growth
- Uphold APTA Ethics and Professionalism Standards in all aspects of practice
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license issued by the New York State Office of Professions
- Experience in pediatrics, preschool/school-age settings, or community-based practice preferred
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
