You’ll play a crucial role from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027, working 35 hours per week with a caseload to be determined.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification in California (or eligibility)
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working within K-12 school environments
- Strong background conducting individual and group counseling for students
- Proficiency administering comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop supportive relationships with students, staff, and families
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling services to students, fostering emotional and academic growth
- Assess and identify student needs through standardized testing and observational tools
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations based on assessments
- Maintain confidential student records and prepare accurate, timely reports
- Serve as a resource to school staff on psychological and behavioral matters
- Support the positive climate of the school community through advocacy and education
