Machine Operator Job Details
Pay Rate: $18/hr | Rockdale, IL
- Monday-Thursday 7 am-5 pm | $18/hr
- Monday-Thursday 5pm-3am $18.50/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Machine Operator Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for up to an 8-hours
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- General lab skills, computer, basic math - percentages, averages, attention to details
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment
- Previous experience utilizing fork trucks in a manufacturing environment
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Blend and pack out material
- Attention to detail to perform error-proofing routines and identify areas where defects can occur
- Load, operate and offload materials for Ink Preparation into computer driven mixers
- Perform routine/incidental maintenance and inspections
- Operation of forklift
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Perform mechanical and pre-startup inspections
