Job Summary
Sanders Law Firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant / Client Engagement Coordinator to support our Mass Tort and Class Action practice. This role focuses heavily on managing client files, maintaining accurate case documentation, coordinating medical records, and supporting attorneys and legal staff throughout the lifecycle of complex litigation matters.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, tech-savvy, and experienced working in fast-paced legal environments with high-volume case files and sensitive client information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain client files for Mass Tort and Class Action cases, ensuring accuracy, organization, and completeness throughout all stages of litigation
- Organize, update, and track medical records, legal documents, authorizations, and case-related materials
- Review case files for missing information and coordinate follow-up requests with clients, providers, and legal staff
- Prepare, review, scan, upload, and organize legal documents within the firm’s case management and document management systems
- Maintain accurate client and case records while ensuring compliance with firm procedures and legal requirements
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with case workups, file preparation, document collection, and administrative litigation support
- Coordinate client communication regarding documentation requests, case updates, and file status
- Monitor deadlines, records requests, and case-related follow-ups to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Support high-volume case management operations while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, privacy standards, and firm policies regarding sensitive information
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, Case Manager, Intake Specialist, Client Coordinator, or similar legal support role
- Experience supporting Mass Tort, Personal Injury, or Class Action litigation preferred
- Strong experience managing and organizing high-volume client files and legal documentation
- Familiarity with medical records collection, legal documentation, and case management workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in data management, formulas, reporting, spreadsheet organization, and administrative support.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and administrative support skills
