1099 General Contractor – Rental Turnover Work
We are a rental property company seeking experienced 1099 independent contractors to handle turnover work between tenants. This role involves a variety of repairs, updates, and improvements to ensure our properties are move-in ready.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry, painting, and drywall repair
- Handle minor plumbing repairs (fixtures, leaks, etc.)
- Perform minor electrical work (light fixtures, switches, outlets)
- Complete basic appliance troubleshooting and replacement
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet turnover timelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general contracting, property maintenance, or related trades
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Must have own tools, transportation, and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must carry appropriate insurance as a 1099 contractor
Compensation:
- Paid per project (prices determined based on the needs of each job)
- Consistent turnover jobs available year-round
