Santa Rosa Beach Community Church Preschool is seeking to hire an assistant teacher to join our preschool family for the 2026-2027 school year. Our team of motivated teachers pride themselves in working together with our preschool families to ensure a nurturing and educational setting. Our school offers a quality early childhood education in a Christian environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the early childhood education field.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing instruction, creating lesson plans, and implementing activities outlined by our curriculum.
- Being able to manage the classroom to allow for optimal learning. Provide communication to parents through our software and parent/teacher conferences.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, follow all policies and procedures to ensure the Florida childcare rules and regulations are maintained, and be a team player.
Job Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher is preferred.
- Completion of Florida Department of Children and Families Mandatory Introductory Training (40 hrs), or willingness to complete training within 12 months of hire.
- Must complete and pass a criminal Background Screening through Florida Department of Children and Families.
Salary/Schedule:
- Competitive pay based on education and experience. Employee benefits include paid time off, employee child discount.
- Part-Time positions available (multiple schedules available)- School year only. We follow the Walton County School Calendar.
