Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead and grow our catering business. This role is built around driving new sales through cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building, with a significant portion of compensation tied to commission on new business. The right person has a proven sales track record, genuine enthusiasm for cold calling, and the follow through to turn leads into long term happy clients. Administrative and operational duties round out the role, but sales growth is a core requirement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Drive new catering sales through consistent cold calling, outreach, and lead generation
- Build a pipeline of new clients and follow through until deals close
- Build strong, lasting client relationships through outstanding communication and customer service
- Maintain sales records and track performance against growth goals
- Represent the brand at networking events and in the community to generate new business
Catering Operations
- Manage all catering orders from processing through completion
- Oversee order prep and dispatch, making sure everything is accurate and on time
- Communicate with the FOH/BOH teams to keep service running smoothly
- Hire, train and support catering team
- Manage routine email marketing campaigns to client base
Qualifications
- Proven sales track record, with a strong preference for candidates with extensive cold calling experience
- 2+ years of catering or event sales experience preferred
- 2+ years in a leadership role preferred
- Comfortable with point of sale software and Google Docs and Sheets
- Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills
- A natural drive toward hitting and exceeding sales goals
- This role requires a high level of mobility, lifting, and moving
- A natural go-getter and "yes" attitude
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting gross earnings of $50,000+, plus bonuses and commission structure on new sales with potential of $62,000.
