American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at an HCA facility in Fredericksburg, TX, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Located on the first floor of an 84-bed hospital

Cardiac Cath Lab unit with a day shift team consisting of 1 CNC, 1 Cath Lab Tech, and 3 RNs
-
Common procedures include Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Interventional Radiology
-
Philips equipment used in the lab
-
EMR: Meditech
-
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shift

On-call rotation required for evenings and weekends

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)

Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

Perform PCI and Interventional Radiology procedures in a collaborative Cath Lab setting

Ideal candidate is personable, professional, and adaptable

Scrubs of any color are acceptable

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 1 year of recent specialty experience is required
