We have developed a new zero-pollution, primary energy source applicable to essentially all power applications that we are running thermal field trials at a scale of 250 kW and an extraordinary power density of 5MW/liter. The theoretically predicted energy breakthrough is based on reacting atomic hydrogen with a catalyst to cause the atom’s electron to transition to a lower-energy orbital forming Hydrino®, a more stable chemical form of hydrogen that we have isolated and characterized by multiple spectroscopies. The proprietary SunCell® validated by experts at a scale of 300 kW comprises a hydrogen and catalyst injector and an electromagnetic pump that serves as an electrode that further injects molten gallium against a counter electrode to form a Hydrino®-reaction plasma with an energy release of 200 times that of burning the hydrogen obtained from water. We have Hydrino® “In a bottle” and spectroscopic methods achieved that identify Hydrino® in a dispositive manner by characteristic signatures that do not match any other known species. Patents are issued worldwide.
BrLP’s business model generates revenue from leasing SunCells® to power consumers on a per diem basis with no metering. Power equipment manufacturing, installation, and maintenance are performed under contracts between BrLP and third parties.
POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a Mechanical Laboratory Technician to assemble novel thermal and electrical power generators requiring mechanical skills. The power source is based on novel hydrogen chemistry that produces extraordinarily high-power-density plasma from hydrogen containing fuel. The goal is to harness the power as heat using a steam boiler and a hot air heat exchanger or convert the plasma into electricity directly using thermophotovoltaic conversion. The system comprises an electromagnetic pump molten metal injection system, an electrical fuel ignition system, and a power converter. The successful candidate will work with a team of engineers, technicians, and machinists in house as well as effectively work with external personnel and resources.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Planning and executing component surface preparations and coatings and then mechanical assembly of power system with other engineers overseeing the work.
- The critical elements are the ability to assemble mechanical, thermal, and electrical systems and the requisite depth and breadth of experience to trouble shoot, enhanced by creativity, cross‐disciplinary problem solving and intuition, coupled with excellent time and project management capability.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Must be able to clearly recognize and communicate component integration challenges that exist and suggest solutions, timelines, and resources required to solve these challenges.
- Proven multi‐functional team leadership.
- Parts and materials management.
- Clean and organized laboratory technique.
- Must be prepared to attend the weekly meetings.
- Must come prepared with contributions to reports as required.
- Capable of following up on assigned tasks.
- Must be capable and responsible for setting up to run a generator testing station, performing generator component preparation and assembly, shake down, and supporting others to perform generator tests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a high school degree with at least two years of extensive, hands‐on experience with mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems is required.
- Mechanical, electrical, and thermal system assembly and integration capability.
- Assembly of monitor and control systems.
- Potential to work in Newtown, PA or Austin TX area wherein the flexibility to relocate is desirable.
