Overview:
There is an opening for a full time or part time CFI / CFII, with the potential to build flight hours quickly. Our part 61 flight school prides itself on providing quality instruction to create safe and responsible pilots, and is small enough to give personal attention to each student.
As a flight instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students how to fly single engine aircraft using both ground and flight training. Flight instructors develop curricula, instruct students in a one-on-one or classroom setting, conduct training flights, determine student proficiency, report on student progress and develop new teaching methods, and perform preventative maintenance / cleaning of the aircraft you utilize. Other responsibilities include training students in all areas of Private Pilot training, as well as instrument, commercial and CFI candidates. The ideal applicant will be one who is driven, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, and a self-starter.

Opportunities to fly part 91 commercial ops may also be available for the right candidate.

You would work in a dynamic GA Environment, Build Hours quickly (potential for 400+ Hours/Yr), Mostly Private Pilot Students & Some Instrument Candidates, as well as Commercial Students and CFI candidates. Training in Piper Archers & a Variety of Owner Aircraft, both tricycle and tailwheel gear.
Requirements:
- CFI Certificate
- 250+ hours TT
- Second class medical
- Ability to keep accurate, organized records
- Motivation to be a Self-Starter
Preferred Qualifications:
- CFII / MEI
- 100 hrs+ of Dual Given
- Tailwheel endorsement
- Computer/Social Networking skills
- Knowledge of Accounting & Basic Business Principles
Pay: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour
