As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Associate Director of Marketing to lead and elevate the Clearwave brand across all locations. This individual will oversee marketing strategy, communications, content creation, digital presence, public relations, reputation management, and employee engagement while helping build a scalable marketing function for the future.
Position Summary
The Associate Director of Marketing is responsible for leading Clearwave's marketing and communications efforts across the organization. This role oversees brand management, digital marketing, content strategy, internal communications, public relations, community visibility initiatives, and marketing operations.
This position owns the Clearwave brand and communications strategy. Business development, referral relationships, and provider outreach functions are managed separately and will be supported by marketing through communications, content creation, branding, and promotional materials.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of developing high-level initiatives while also executing projects and driving measurable results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented healthcare environment.
This position works closely with executive leadership and directly supervises Communications Coordinators and future marketing team members.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute Clearwave's annual marketing and communications strategy
- Maintain and strengthen the Clearwave brand across all locations and service lines
- Ensure consistency in messaging, visual identity, and patient-facing materials
- Manage marketing budgets, vendors, and external agency relationships
- Monitor marketing performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership
- Ensure marketing initiatives comply with applicable healthcare advertising and privacy requirements
- Support organizational growth through strategic marketing initiatives and brand development
Digital Marketing & Content
- Oversee Clearwave's website strategy, content, and ongoing enhancements
- Manage social media platforms, content calendars, and digital engagement strategies
- Develop patient education materials, provider spotlights, employee features, and organizational storytelling content
- Coordinate photography, video production, graphic design, and creative assets
- Support search engine optimization (SEO) and digital advertising initiatives
- Monitor and improve online reputation management, including reviews and patient feedback channels
- Evaluate emerging marketing trends and opportunities to strengthen digital visibility
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Lead internal communications across all Clearwave locations
- Oversee employee newsletters, announcements, and organizational updates
- Partner with Human Resources on employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Support employee recognition programs and company-wide initiatives
- Promote consistent communication and alignment across departments and locations
- Develop communication plans for organizational announcements, milestones, and leadership initiatives
Public Relations & Community Visibility
- Coordinate media opportunities and public relations initiatives
- Manage sponsorships and community visibility opportunities
- Support location openings, ribbon cuttings, provider launches, and organizational milestones
- Coordinate event planning, promotional materials, and public-facing communications
- Strengthen Clearwave's reputation and visibility throughout the communities we serve
Team Leadership & Marketing Operations
- Directly supervise Communications Coordinators and future marketing team members
- Establish team priorities, goals, and performance expectations
- Manage project timelines, marketing workflows, and organizational marketing calendars
- Develop scalable marketing systems and processes to support continued organizational growth
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and results-oriented team culture
- Track and report on key marketing performance indicators
Marketing Performance & Accountability
The Associate Director of Marketing will be responsible for establishing, tracking, and reporting on marketing performance across the organization.
Brand & Digital Presence
- Maintain and continuously improve Clearwave's website and digital presence
- Increase website traffic, engagement, and conversion performance
- Grow social media reach, engagement, and content effectiveness
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and locations
Content & Communications
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars
- Produce regular provider spotlights, patient education content, employee features, and organizational communications
- Ensure timely distribution of employee newsletters and company updates
- Oversee content creation across written, graphic, video, and digital formats
Reputation Management
- Monitor and report on online reputation metrics across all locations
- Increase patient review volume and engagement
- Coordinate review management processes and feedback initiatives
Marketing Operations
- Maintain an annual marketing calendar and project roadmap
- Track campaign performance and marketing return on investment
- Present monthly marketing dashboards and quarterly strategic updates to leadership
- Develop scalable systems and processes that support future organizational growth
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional marketing, communications, public relations, or related experience
- 2+ years of leadership or team management experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using marketing platforms, social media tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-location service organizations
- Experience managing websites and content management systems
- Knowledge of social media strategy, digital advertising, SEO, and marketing analytics
- Experience with public relations, media outreach, and event planning
- Experience managing creative vendors, agencies, or freelance contractors
- Graphic design, photography, video production, or creative content experience
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12 months, the Associate Director of Marketing will:
- Strengthen and standardize the Clearwave brand across all locations
- Increase website traffic, digital engagement, and content performance
- Improve employee engagement through effective internal communications
- Enhance organizational visibility and community presence
- Improve online reputation management and patient review activity
- Establish executive-level marketing reporting and dashboards
- Successfully support provider launches, location openings, and organizational initiatives
- Develop scalable systems and processes that support future growth and expansion
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel regularly to Clearwave locations throughout New York State
- Occasional evening or weekend attendance at company events, community events, or organizational initiatives may be required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
