Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Prepare and present legal arguments and evidence in court
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney
- Strong litigation skills with experience in both state and federal courts
- Proficient in legal drafting, writing, and research
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
