Job Overview
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals on their journey to mental wellness. You will provide compassionate and effective psychotherapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address the unique needs of your clients. What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their therapeutic needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions using various modalities, including CBT, DBT, and behavioral health techniques.
- Offer support and counseling for patients dealing with grief, chronic pain, and other emotional challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with ICD-10 guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy and mental health.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, focusing on special education needs or other relevant topics.
- Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field is required.
- Registered Intern Status or Licensed (RMHCI, RMFTI, or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with couples, children and families is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing virtual therapy sessions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, including behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with autism, and those requiring special education support is a plus.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles as they relate to mental health treatment is beneficial.

Projected Total Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
