Our non-profit affiliate is transitioning a premier residential care portfolio to a fully integrated, tech-enabled clinical platform utilizing a modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We are seeking part-time, highly supportive Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) or Registered Nurses (RNs) to act as our "Clinical Shepherds" on the ground.
Rather than auditing, your primary responsibility is to physically visit our facilities, build trusted relationships with our care staff, and train them step-by-step on transitioning from paper charts to digital EHR and electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on eMAR Onboarding: Physically visit your designated facilities weekly to train caregivers directly on tablets and digital charting.
Medication Cart Audits: Review physical medication logs and digital MAR files to ensure zero clinical or dosage errors during the system migration.
Caregiver Support: Act as a reassuring, accessible, and supportive clinical buffer, answering caregivers' tech questions and making their daily documentation easier.
Physician Liaison: Coordinate with residents' primary care doctors to verify and accurately digitize medication orders.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure: Active California LVN or RN License in good standing.
Clinical History: Proven clinical experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or behavioral health environments.
Communication: Outstanding teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient approach toward non-technical caregivers.
Tech Familiarity: Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and eMAR software platforms.
Mobility: Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within your designated local operations zone.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
