Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and punctual dishwasher for evening shift from 4-5 pm to 10-11 pm.
Candidate must understand and communicate in English.
Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday are mandatory days.
You will have an option to perform busser job to significantly enhance your tips but is not mandatory. Or you can also do food prep job and will come in 3 -4 hours early before the restaurant is open and then do your regular dish washing job after restaurant is open.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables promptly, and maintaining a tidy dining area (only if you want to be a busser).
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for kitchen stations.
- Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items such as trays or bulk supplies to ensure safety.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and other small appliances.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by adhering to kitchen health and safety standards throughout all duties.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards in all food service areas, ensuring compliance with food safety management protocols.
Skills
- Experience in food handling, dishwashing, or restaurant support roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation practices within a commercial kitchen setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or prep stations.
- Strong commitment to maintaining kitchen health and safety standards at all times.
- Excellent teamwork skills with experience in bussing or supporting hospitality operations preferred.
- Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus; hospitality background helps foster excellent guest service support.
