Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals.
- Customize massage sessions based on client feedback and physiological knowledge to optimize results.
- Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and post-session care instructions.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment properly.
- Keep detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client responses for future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest massage therapy practices, medical terminology, and industry standards through ongoing education.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques to effectively address diverse client concerns.
- Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately through patient assessment techniques and medical terminology understanding.
- Exceptional client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build lasting relationships.
- CPR certification and familiarity with medical safety standards to ensure client well-being during sessions.
- Experience working in med spas or similar environments is preferred to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

Pay: $27.50 - $80.00 per hour
