Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part-Time Manager to lead and oversee daily operations at our vibrant event venue. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver outstanding guest services during events and daily operations
- Oversee shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels and efficient task execution
- Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and adherence to safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Maintain operational standards by monitoring venue cleanliness, safety procedures, and equipment functionality
- Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, staff performance, and operational challenges
- Assist with budgeting, cash handling, and inventory management to optimize venue profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in <PERSON> (personal experience) with event management or hospitality settings
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or managerial decision-making experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and administrative tasks
- Hands-on experience with event venue operations or resort/hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Excellent team management and supervisory skills to motivate staff effectively
- Exceptional customer service abilities coupled with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle shift management responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of operational management, budgeting, cash handling, and guest services best practices
- Technical proficiency in managing venue equipment and safety protocols; first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Previous restaurant or resort experience is a plus; assistant manager experience is advantageous
