Job Function:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of the District’s marketing and public relations strategies.
Duties:
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate extensively with the Superintendent, Chief Development Officer, Chief of Human Resources, CFO, CLOO, ED of Marketing and Recruitment, ED of Enrollment, and CSO to ensure the marketing campaign goals and strategies of the organization are fully realized.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Create, design, plan, and manage marketing campaigns designed to achieve the following goals:- Increase student enrollment
- Build strong community relationships
- Increase public awareness of Trinity Basin Preparatory, Inc. and the mission of the organization
- Recruit high-quality employees
- Attract and develop relationships with potential corporate and individual donors
Evaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing efforts to ensure achievement of marketing goals.
Coordinate “Brand Management” efforts.
Coordinate the design and production of high-quality marketing materials, including:- Brochures and flyers
- Informational packets
- Videos
- Direct mail materials
- Media announcements
- Web-based materials
- Banners and other promotional items
Coordinate and manage effective public, social media, and community relations: (English and Spanish)- Write news releases
- Arrange media interviews
- Handle media at District events
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with members of the media and community organizations, including parent-teacher organizations
- Coordinate the production of special events such as groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies
- Represent Trinity Basin Preparatory at a variety of events and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Work collaboratively with a wide variety of district staff and external organizations to achieve the marketing goals of the organization
- Create, maintain and update district social media presence.
Understands and complies with all district policies, procedures, and expectations as communicated by administration.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated knowledge of media operations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (Degree in marketing or communications preferred).

At least five (5) years of relevant experience, seven (7) to ten (10) years preferred.

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
