Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity surgical team performing complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. This role requires strong scrub and circulate experience in advanced cardiac surgery and the ability to function in a fast-paced OR environment.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – Scrub & Circulate
Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA required)
- CNOR Certification preferred
- 3–5 years recent CVOR scrub and circulating experience required
- Must be proficient in both scrub and circulate roles (primary focus on scrubbing)
- Experience with complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
Required Surgical Experience
- Coronary Artery Bypass (CABG) – primary and redo
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Aortic & Mitral Valve Replacements (AVR/MVR) – primary and redo
- TAVR procedures
- ECMO cases
- VAD placements (adult required; pediatric experience a plus)
