Cannabis Delivery Driver / Patient Consultant – Part-Time (Weekends)
Job Description
Position Summary
The Part-Time Cannabis Delivery Driver / Patient Consultant provides weekend coverage for the highest-volume days of our retail week. This dual-role position is responsible for safely and compliantly delivering cannabis products to customers within our designated service area while also supporting dispensary operations as a budtender when not actively on delivery runs. This role is critical to delivering an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, accuracy, reliability, and strict adherence to compliance standards.
What You Will Do
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles to fulfill customer orders within designated delivery zones
- Verify customer identification and eligibility in compliance with Missouri cannabis regulations
- Process customer payments accurately using mobile POS systems, including handling cash transactions and reconciliations
- Complete required METRC and delivery documentation, including manifests and transfer logs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or compliance concerns promptly
- Maintain chain-of-custody and security of cannabis products during transport
- Support dispensary operations as a budtender during non-delivery periods
- Assist customers with cannabis product selection, education, and purchasing decisions
- Maintain knowledge of cannabis products, effects, dosing guidance, and industry trends
- Accurately process in-store transactions and loyalty programs in accordance with company procedures
- Restock inventory, maintain organized displays, and support daily dispensary workflow
- Follow all company SOPs, state regulations, security procedures, and compliance protocols
- Support opening, closing, cleaning, and general store upkeep responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment while delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain reliable weekend availability, particularly Friday through Sunday shifts
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently provides professional, friendly, and education-focused customer interactions
- Maintains accuracy and compliance in delivery manifests, cash handling, and POS transactions
- Safely completes delivery routes while maintaining strong time management and communication
- Supports efficient dispensary operations during high-volume weekend periods
- Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and professionalism both in-store and on the road
- Maintains strong product knowledge and adherence to all state cannabis regulations
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license
- Clean motor vehicle record with no DUIs and no more than two moving violations within the past three years
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Identification Card
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems
- Ability to manage time independently while completing delivery routes
- Familiarity with cannabis products and terminology preferred
- Prior dispensary, retail, or delivery driver experience preferred
- Familiarity with METRC or seed-to-sale systems preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Comfortable using smartphones, delivery routing applications, and dispatch communication tools
- Consistent availability Friday through Sunday required; occasional Thursday or Monday coverage may be requested

- Base pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule
