We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team and support material flow, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance.
Position Summary
G&W Display Fixtures is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for receiving, stocking, inventory handling, order picking, packing, and staging materials for assembly and shipment.
This position works closely with the Warehouse Manager and production teams to ensure materials are accurate, organized, and available when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, kitting, packing, and staging
- Pull and prepare customer orders and internal jobs
- Load and unload trucks while verifying incoming and outgoing materials
- Maintain organized bin locations, labeling, and proper material storage
- Assist with cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment, or learn to do so safely
- Follow warehouse layout standards and support improvements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in alignment with 5S standards
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate material shortages, damages, or issues to leadership
- Work closely with Production, Assembly, and Shipping teams to support workflow
- Perform additional duties that support company objectives and operational success
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience; entry-level candidates welcome
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read pick lists, labels, and work orders
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with inventory processes or cycle counting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and equipment activity
