Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems, HVAC/R units, refrigeration equipment, and electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC units, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently by interpreting schematics and technical diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support for mechanical systems installation or renovation efforts.
- Lead or collaborate with team members on equipment repair tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, and mechanical systems repair.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with appliance installation, air conditioning systems, and mechanical systems repair is highly desirable.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members or lead small project teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
