Juneau Construction Company is expanding our Atlanta, GA based Talent Acquisition Team. We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist familiar with the Commercial Construction industry to support sourcing, recruiting and hiring best in class construction operations employees across our Southeast footprint.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the People + Culture team at Juneau Construction Company. This role will be responsible for proactively identifying, engaging with, and recruiting best in class talent to join Juneau Construction Company in various roles and locations across our regional footprint. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner closely with members of Juneau to identify needs and understand specific role requirements. Similarly, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the initial and primary point of contact for both active and passive candidates, ensuring a positive and hospitable candidate experience that reflects our culture and values.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

3-5 years of experience in sourcing specialized talent
-
Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) recruiting experience required

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and engage with passive candidates utilizing sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and industry-specific organizations
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates in various stages of the recruitment process

Engage with members of People + Culture leadership, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to determine short and long-term talent needs across the organization.

Remain current with industry trends and insights to assist with identifying passive and specialized talent for nuanced and unique positions

Utilize effective and innovative approaches to conducting searches, including but not limited to Boolean and X-ray Searching techniques

Develop capture plans and determine appropriate cadence of touchpoints with key decision makers as progress is tracked towards filling roles.

Establish proactive sourcing pipelines of candidates in preparation for influxes of hiring needs, and in response to tough-to-fill roles and locations

Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences to encourage engagement and retention of relationships

Provide candidates and employees with consistently positive experiences through timely updates and follow-up communication

Schedule and coordinate introductory phone calls to determine alignment with candidate career objectives and available opportunities at Juneau Construction Company

Maintain accurate records of conversations and touchpoints throughout the established relationship with the candidate within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Assist with people initiatives and special projects that enhance employee engagement and experience

Participate in conversations with key decision makers to establish, refine or develop staffing and project team models to identify areas of focus alongside members of People + Culture Leadership

Represent Juneau Construction Company at various industry and community events, including but not limited to Career Fairs, Industry Competitions and Expos.

Job Expectations:

Position may require extended periods of time sitting and/or standing, talking both in person and over technological avenues, lifting up to 20 lbs. as needed

Position may require travel within the Juneau Construction Company footprint to jobsites and additional office locations for various events as needed.
- This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring a regular in-office presence at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week based on business needs.
- Position requires tact and confidentiality, as the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for owning, reporting on, and updating sensitive information pertaining to the organization and its’ employees, and other relevant parties.
