Job Title:Senior Design Engineer
What's the Job?
- Design and develop high-frequency magnetic components including transformers, inductors, and chokes that meet customer specifications and project timelines.
- Support existing product lines through design modifications, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand operating conditions and tailor magnetic solutions accordingly.
- Utilize analytical tools and ANSYS Maxwell for simulations and modeling to optimize magnetic designs for performance, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Ensure all designs comply with UL, IEC, and other international safety and performance standards, maintaining high quality and safety benchmarks.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing high-frequency magnetics (above 5-500kHz).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with ANSYS Maxwell is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on laboratory, testing, and prototyping skills, including basic fabrication and soldering.
- Familiarity with UL standards, safety requirements, and magnetic construction methods such as bobbin-wound, toroidal, and planar formats.
