Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and motivated full-time electrician with at least three years of hands-on field residential experience. This means!!! Working in residential homes, on site, performing the qualifications below. Please do not apply if no residential electrical experience as this jobs requirements.
This position requires someone who can work efficiently, follow directions, work well with others, and travel between job sites throughout the northwest suburbs, North Shore, and surrounding areas of Illinois.
Duties and Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
Perform electrical work for new construction, remodeling, additions, service upgrades, and repairs
Read and accurately follow electrical blueprints, plans, and diagrams
Bend and install conduit efficiently and accurately
Troubleshoot circuitry and identify electrical problems
Install wiring, lighting, devices, panels, and related electrical equipment
Follow current electrical codes and job-site safety requirements
Work independently when required and cooperate with other electricians and trades
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Travel between job sites as needed
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
A minimum of three years of hands-on electrical experience
Strong conduit and pipe-bending skills
Experience with circuitry and electrical troubleshooting
The ability to read blueprints and electrical plans
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid driver’s license
Current automobile insurance
Reliable transportation
Their own hand tools, including a bender and bandsaw
The ability to pass a drug test
A dependable work history and professional attitude
Compensation
Pay will be determined based on experience, demonstrated skill level, efficiency, workmanship, and ability to perform the required duties.
The posted pay range represents the potential range for the position. Actual starting pay will be based on the applicant’s qualifications and demonstrated abilities.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
