Under the limited supervision of the Executive Director, the Community Access and Technology Director will administer positive behavior supports, information technology, enabling technology functions and adult day services.
1. Directs the Agency’s use of behavior support providers/staff and coordinates communication with behavior support providers and Agency managers/staff.
2. Directs the Agency’s emphasis on positive behavior support methodology and training of staff.
3. Develops policies and procedures, identifies devices, educates staff and people supported and assists in the implementation of enabling technology plans for residents and eligible participants in other Agency operated programs.
4. Ensures Agency information technology systems, devices and processes are stable and meet the needs of the Agency, staff, and those we support.
5. Implements, supervises, monitors and reviews of the Agency Day Services to include at a minimum: Creative Connections, Get Out and Grow, Career Paths, Opportunity Works and Employment Transportation.
6. Ensures that all day services adhere to regulations, policies, directives or rules set by our funding agencies while meeting the person-centered needs of those we support.
7. Responsible for the administration, billing, fiscal monitorship and equipment/vehicle needs of all assigned services areas.
8. Serves as a member of the Executive Staff and attends Executive Staff Meetings.
9. Recruits, hires, trains, monitors, evaluates, schedules, approves timecards and leave requests, and ensures ongoing training requirements for all assigned staff.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work, quality assurance, psychology, business administration or a related field from an accredited university or college with no experience requirement or a High School diploma and 3 years of experience working with programs supporting people with disabilities or 3 years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Pay: $57,200.00 per year
