We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Attendant to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients across various stages of health and wellness. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Support medication administration following medical instructions while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Assist with meal preparation, general cleaning, laundry, and other home care tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Support clients during transfers or mobility exercises using proper patient transfer methods and equipment like Hoyer lifts or gait belts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities; home health agency experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to perform patient personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism.
- Strong understanding of home health care assistance regulations and safety protocols including HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for patient transfer methods or heavy lifting duties.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
- Abel to clear a criminal history check.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
