Job Summary:
Twist ‘N' Tumble (TNT) is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Adult Gymnastics Recreation and Competition
Coach. This person will oversee the gymnastics and preschool recreational programs offered through Twist ‘N' Tumble.
Starting pay is $18.00/hr contingent on experience
8-15 hours per week varies with competition season (potential for more hours)
240-260 days per year
Monday - Saturday including evenings and weekends
Primary Duties:

Implement program curriculums (Ninja and Gymnastics Recreation) with the approval of the TNT Supervisor.

Facilitate the first week of each ninja and gymnastics recreational session, by assisting parents/staff/ninjas/gymnasts in finding their classes, answering questions and providing quality customer service.

Speak to parents regarding their child's progression, and communicate with youth enrichment administrative assistant regarding child's class levels.

Conduct youth assessments as needed, update on My Skills Chart. Communicate with TNT Supervisor regarding dates and times of assessments.

Coach ninja and gymnastics recreational classes throughout the week, when needed.

Assist in coordinating camps, open gym and special events programs.

Assist in staffing birthday parties, if needed

Ensure Speedy grid is updated.

Update My Skills Chart each session and ensure parents/staff/etc. are utilizing it.

Include TNT Supervisor on all correspondence with parents, youth, and coaching staff.

Regularly update and meet with TNT supervisor & any additional leadership coaching staff

Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Perform periodic equipment safety checks.

Present a positive professional attitude that reflects the goals and mission statement of TNT.

Other duties as assigned by the TNT Supervisor or Community Education Leadership team.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum two years ninja and/or gymnastics related coaching experience

Must have or be willing to get current certifications in Safe Sport, NGA Professional, CPR, First Aid & AED

Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community

Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter, and be a team player

Must have sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions

Highly effective communication, interpersonal & organizational skills

Strong passion for inspiring children and individuals to achieve goals and overcome obstacles

Willing to work irregular hours, including nights & weekends, elementary, and high school youth. Applicant must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR training, concussion management training and other safety skill training as requested by the program supervisor.
