We are looking for a friendly person to join our family optometric practice. Our primary eye care and vision therapy facility is located in Palos Heights, and we a second vision therapy center in Mokena. The position entails the administration and documentation of vision therapy exercises to treat visual abnormalities that include but are not limited to convergence insufficiency, eye turn (strabismus), lazy eye (amblyopia), and poor eye tracking (oculomotor dysfunction). Experience working with children is strongly recommended. Employee will undergo thorough training prior to working as a Vision Therapist.

Higher hourly rate expected for those with previous VT experience or COVT credential.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver vision therapy exercises as prescribed by the optometrist
Educate, train, and document patients’ progress for each individualized treatment plan
Perform administrative duties as needed
