We are currently seeking a Part-time Assistant Caregiver who enjoys working with young children and being part of a caring, supportive team. (Will work in our infant room).

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- College coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development preferred
- CPR & First Aid Certification (must be current or willing to obtain)
- Must be willing to be fingerprinted and pass background checks
- Must have up-to-date vaccinations per state licensing requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Previous experience working with children (childcare, preschool, daycare, etc.) preferred
- Must be at least 25+ years of age
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and nurturing personality
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children at all times, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist with daily routines including meals, snacks, naps, diapering, and potty training
- Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate interactions
- Observe and report children’s progress or concerns to the Lead Teacher
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Follow all state licensing regulations and Little Sprouts policies
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- working with infants and toddlers: 2 years (Preferred)
Language:
- English and Spanish (Preferred)
