St. Peter School is in search of a middle school teacher (8th Grade Homeroom). Currently, the position includes teaching 5-8th grade ELA and 8th grade Social Studies. However, this assignment can be flexible depending on the licensure of the applicant. In addition to regular teaching expectations, the 8th grade homeroom teacher organizes the 8th grade trip to Washington DC.
Top Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language Arts, or Social Studies

Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification per diocesan requirements

Practicing Catholic preferred (or willing to support and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church)

Experience teaching middle school English Language Arts and/or Social Studies preferred

Be able to pass required FBI/BCI background checks
