TITLE: Senior Project Manager
JOB OVERVIEW: The Senior Project Manager leads large, complex projects across the hospital and affiliated ambulatory locations, managing multiple concurrent initiatives using Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies. This role ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives while delivering operational, clinical, and financial value.
The Senior Project Manager provides expertise in project execution, governance, and change management; applies EPMO standards and tools consistently; and supports less-experienced project managers through guidance and mentorship. This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to influence stakeholders, resolve challenges, and navigate complex healthcare and technology environments. The role requires a hands-on, organization-wide approach, partnering across clinical operations, IT, quality, HR, finance, supply chain, and facilities to deliver cross-functional initiatives.

WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p; hours may vary as required to fulfill responsibilities and meet department needs.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Enterprise Project Management Office
PREREQUISITES:
Bachelor's degree required; degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience managing healthcare technology and operational initiatives, including EHR, ERP, and integrated hospital systems.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication
Communicate complex project information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Provide clear and transparent status reporting to project sponsors, governance committees, and senior stakeholders.
Serve as liaison across departments, leadership teams, affiliates, and vendors to ensure effective coordination and communication.
Facilitate governance meetings, executive briefings, and structured status reporting.
Team Leadership
Lead large cross-functional project teams and drives engagement and accountability without direct authority.
Assign and monitor tasks of project teams, and coordinate with resource managers to secure appropriate staffing and expertise required for successful project execution.
Financial Stewardship
Accountable for comprehensive financial management of large, complex projects.
Manage capital and operating budgets for assigned projects including cost estimation, financial forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
