Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, SRP, and periodontal charting.
- Administration of arestin.
- Take and digital x-rays while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
- Review and update electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of medical records.

Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for charting, scheduling, and documentation management.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Excellent communication skills for client education, team collaboration, and patient care documentation review.
- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures, dental equipment operation, and medical coding practices related to dental services.
