On behalf of our client, R.S.M.C. Services are seeking a Locum / Locum-to-Perm opportunity in Luray, VA, with the possibility to transition to full-time in the future. Looking for a Medicaid credentialed dentist.
We have a part-time (Mon-Tue) and full-time (Mon-Tue, Thu, Fri OR Mon-Wed, Fri) openings.
Position Details
- Role: Locum Dentist (Full-time OR Part-time)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Luray, VA 22835
- Schedule for Part-time: 2 days/week (Mondays and Tuesdays)
- Schedule for Full-time: 4 days/week (Mon-Tue, Thu, Fri OR Mon-Wed, Fri)
- Commitment: 3 months minimum (preferred)
- Daily Rate: Up to $1,100/day
- SIGN-ON BONUS: $500 after completing your 1st 10 shifts
- Malpractice Insurance: 100% covered
- Travel/Lodging: Hotel and travel reimbursements provided
Job Details:
- Type: General Dentist – Family Dentistry
- Patient Mix: 75% Adult / 25% Pediatric
- Daily Volume: ~30 patients
- Procedures: Root canals, bridges, extractions, implants (surgical extractions referred out)
- Software/Tech: Denticon, sensors, scanners
- Insurance: 55% Medicaid / 45% PPO
- Office Setup: Single-doctor practice with hygienists and dental assistants
- Mentorship: Virtual mentorship available
- Culture: Supportive team, positive and collaborative environment
- Community Presence: Strong outreach and well-established family practice
We are open to a locum assignment while securing a permanent provider, and this could become a long-term full-time opportunity.
