Restoration Technician
PuroClean Property Restoration Services – Lee’s Summit, MO
PuroClean Property Restoration Services (PuroClean) is a growing company located in Lee’s Summit, MO in search of full-time Restoration Technician's looking to grow his/her career opportunities. PuroClean is in the emergency business, specializing in Water/Fire/Mold/Bio-Hazard that serves the greater Kansas City Area. This job requires immediate responsiveness, with an eye for detail, knowledge of building components and how buildings are structurally put together. Deadlines must be met for program losses, as well as for customer needs. A Restoration Technician is responsible for the immediate response to water damage claims and other restoration-related programs and projects. One may need to be available 24/7/365 (holidays, after hours and weekends are on a rotating on call basis).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- IICRC WRT/FSRT/AMRT certifications preferred, but not necessary. Training and Certifications will be available for the right crew!
- 1 or more years’ experience in the restoration or building industry.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of current State driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must pass background check (no felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions for violent offenses or loss of property).
- Strong integrity and dependability.
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL:
- Maintain constant communication with customers and Project Manager.
- Be personable and outgoing, intent on making a great first impression.
- Be effective with written and oral communications.
- Be able to climb stairs, scaffold and ladders.
- Be able to crawl through attics and crawlspaces as needed.
- Be able to bend, squat, lift frequently and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Be available 24/7/365 to handle any emergency. (Rotating after hours schedule)
- Be physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection.
- Occasionally work in temperatures above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees.
- Occasionally work on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Understand the noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
- Work in environments such as smoke, wind, water, Category 2 and 3 water, fire, etc.
- As part of a team, or autonomously depending on the job.
- Be able to complete other duties as assigned.
- Support a Drug-free workplace.
