About the Role
Concord Management Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team in-person. In this role, you will work directly with and support our Current Contract Administrator in the day-to-day management of government contracts. You will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining precise documentation, presenting contract briefs, and supporting the successful execution of our contract obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Aligned with our Standard Operating Procedures, your primary duties will include assisting the Contract Administrator with the following:
- Contract Review & Implementation: Assist in the receipt, review, and initial assessment of new government contracts. Help organize project kick-off meetings and prepare comprehensive compliance checklists.
- Documentation Management: Create, update, and securely maintain contract files (both physical and electronic). This includes organizing contract terms, amendments, communications, and performance reports.
- Performance Monitoring: Help track progress against contract milestones and deliverables. Assist in preparing performance reports and documenting any deviations or necessary contract modifications.
- Compliance Support: Support the team in meeting critical reporting deadlines and requirements, including Employee Research System (ERS) data, Quarterly Employment Reporting (QER), Bio-Preferred Reporting, VETS-4212, and Federal Subaward Reporting System (FSRS) filings.
- Presentations & Briefings: Assist in delivering clear, engaging briefings, updates, and presentations regarding compliance metrics and contract statuses to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Financial Administration: Assist with preparing and submitting invoices in accordance with specific contract terms (familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus). Help track payments and maintain accurate financial records for auditing purposes.
- Contract Closeout: Aid in the contract closeout process by verifying that all terms and deliverables have been met and helping prepare the final closeout documentation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies, or a related discipline).
- Compliance Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of government compliance regulations, federal reporting, and contract administration standards.
- Public Speaking & Communication: Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to confidently present information and facilitate collaborative discussions.
- Organization: Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple competing compliance checklists and deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, document management platforms, and general financial/invoicing workflows.
- Work Style: Reliable, professional, and fully prepared to work.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
