Gregs Cookout is hiring an experienced, dependable, and energetic part-time bartender. The right candidate must deliver fast, friendly service while keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, and wine-based cocktails
- Follow recipes and use accurate drink measurements
- Greet customers and provide professional service
- Verify identification and follow alcohol-service laws
- Enter orders and payments accurately using Toast POS
- Handle cash and credit-card transactions responsibly
- Restock beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized bar throughout the shift
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties
- Monitor inventory and report low-stock items
- Assist servers and other FOH employees when necessary
Requirements:
- At least one year of bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and proper drink measurements
- Must be dependable, punctual, honest, and professional
- Must work quickly and remain organized during busy shifts
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Must be available evenings and weekends
- Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol
- English required; Haitian Creole is a plus
- Personal phone use is not permitted while working
